Bleed Out The Filler was casually written and recorded during the month of February of 2011 as a result of deciding to take part in the RPM Challenge. February turned out to be a busy month of solo shows, rehearsals for Luna Versus You and learning the songs for, rehearsing and the eventual mini tour playing keys with Oryx and Crake. I did however, finish the album, which had no pre-written or even pre-thought out material and I forced myself to play the guitar differently than I ever had before. It was fun, I mixed it as I recorded and it is what it is- not perfect, but beautiful and raw in it's own right. Which really, is exactly the way I like to do things.
